Diversification and Turnover

Round Hill's client portfolios are reasonably diversified to reduce risk, but not so diversified as to prevent a major change in a security's price from affecting the portfolio in a significant manner. The typical managed account holds some thirty or forty individual securities.

Round Hill's managed accounts are characterized by relatively low turnover. Although the stock market may, in some cases, recognize intrinsic value quickly, an average holding period for most investments might be two to four years.
